Production and characterization of Amanitin toxins from a pure culture of Amanita exitialis.
Amanita exitialis Zhu L. Yang and T.H. Li is a lethal mushroom species recently isolated in Guangdong Province, China. In this report, a pure culture of this species was obtained for the first time. To confirm the identity of the pure culture, the internal transcribed spacer regions of the nuclear ribosomal DNA of the pure culture and of a typical fruiting body of the species were sequenced and...
متن کاملIllumina-based de novo transcriptome sequencing and analysis of Amanita exitialis basidiocarps.
Amanita exitialis is a lethal mushroom that was first discovered in Guangdong Province, China. The high content of amanitin in its basidiocarps makes it lethal to humans. To comprehensively characterize the A. exitialis transcriptome and analyze the Amanita toxins as well as their related gene family, transcriptome sequencing of A. exitialis was performed using Illumina HiSeq 2000 technology. A...
متن کاملRelationship Between the Conformation of the Cyclopeptides Isolated from the Fungus Amanita Phalloides (Vaill. Ex Fr.) Secr. and Its Toxicity
The electronic structures and conformational studies of the cyclopeptides, Omethyl-α-amanitin, phalloidin and antamanide, were obtained from molecular parameters on the basis of semiempiric and ab initio methods.
متن کاملSynthesis of cyclopeptides from plants, fungi and sea animals*
A very flexible synthesis of non proteinogenic amino acids and an effective ring closure method for formation of macrolactams were elaborated. These methods are prerequisite for economical synthesis of cyclopeptides . The total syntheses of several cyclopeptides which had been isolated from plants, fungi and lower sea animals are described.
متن کاملADDITION TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF AMANITA (AGARICALES, PLUTEACEAE) FROM IRAN
Six species of the genus Amanita are reported from Iran. Among them A. aspera, A. caesarea and A. crocea are new members for Iranian fungus flora. Three previously reported species viz. A. battarae, A. ceciliae and A. rubescens var. rubescens are studied in details. All species areredescribed and illustrated with microphotographs and drawings.
